Founded by Cara Black, Knotty by Nurture brings together expert plant care, thoughtfully selected houseplants, handcrafted crafts & macramé, and personalized services designed to help plants and the people who love them thrive.

What began as a love for horticulture and fiber art grew into a business built around making plant care more approachable, personal, and enjoyable. Cara is an Ohio-licensed Greenhouse Pesticide and Fertilizer Applicator, a certified Greenhouse Technician, and a horticulture student at Sinclair Community College. With hands-on nursery experience and a lifelong connection to plant care, she brings knowledgeable, down-to-earth guidance to every customer interaction.
